This is from our very first challenge using Pork, Carrots & Lettuce.
It’s healthy but it ain’t salad! Eat this with or without rice.
You can also add other ingredients like bell peppers and shallots to change it up. Use chilli padi if you want an extra kick.
1 tbsp- Canola Oil
1 tbsp- Ginger (diced)
2 cloves- Garlic (minced)
500g- Ground Pork
1/4 cup- Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp- Sriracha
1 head- Lettuce (pluck leaves)
1 – Carrot (thinly sliced sticks)
2 – Scallions (chopped)
1 tbsp- Sesame Seeds
- Fry Ginger and Garlic over medium heat until fragrant in a pan
- Add Ground Pork and fry til just cooked, keep moving the ingredients
- Add Hoisin sauce and Sriracha into the pan and combine with the rest of the ingredients
- Spoon pork into lettuce leaves and sprinkle with carrots, scallions, and sesame seeds and drizzle with Sriracha. Serve with extra hoisin, if desired.
